Door County Computer is now able to offer high speed internet through a fixed wireless system. Wireless is not available in all areas.

You can receive internet access from our units on a tower by mounting a radio on your roof. We offer speeds up to 5 Mb/s (not available in all areas) and, with low latency, performance far exceeds satellite.

At the moment service is available in Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, Carlsville, Ellison Bay, Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Baileys Harbor, parts of Fish Creek, nearly all of the Green Bay shoreline, Washington Island, and the Juddville area. We have 16 sites transmitting and we are always working on adding new sites and increasing our coverage. On Washington Island we currently have 3 sites active and plan to have another 3 active before the fall of 2007.

There are two charges for fixed wireless internet:

1. Equipment and Installation: Once you know that you can get service, call us to schedule a time for an install. We need to put a radio on your roof or wherever there is ample radio signal. Installation/Equipment is $399 for 95% of our installtions.
